I returned this book after I saw the first entry - I have read all the books in the Bridgerton series, loved them all, but this book was just a repeat of the final stories in each of these books, with a short story about Violet at the end. I was quite disappointed, since I was expecting more from this author. Bottom line: if you have read the series, don't bother with this book!

I loved Happily Ever After! I re-read all of the Bridgerton books to refresh my memory of each story line prior to reading this book. I love series books and having a follow up to each was great.

Happily Ever After touches on each sibling and a short continuation of their love story. There is even one for Violet their mother. I really enjoyed Franseca and Gregory's stories. Violet's story was perfect.

Of course I would love to have more on this family but not sure how the stories would continue to evolve. who knows, maybe a story line on the 2nd or 3rd generation of the Bridgertons. -)
I have enjoyed the books of the Bridgerton family for years. I was very glad to read this book about the family and what happened after the stories ended. I was especially glad to read about Violet and Edmund and their relationship.
I would recommend this book to anyone.
Regency Romance with some sexual situations, but no actual sex.

This is actually 8 stories that were e-books. Thanks to JQ, those of us who have no kindles by choice or finances can now enjoy these stories. The last story is a synopsis of Violet's life, which is a new story.
I enjoyed these stories, although they are all "feel good" with the exception of Gregory's & Violet's. They are all very short also. You need to read the entire 8 book Bridgerton series to get anything out of them. These are true epilogues. Enjoy!
I love, love, love the Bridgertons. When I started to read this book, I decided to reread each of the Bridgerton books before I read their "Happily Ever After" segments. I would suggest if one hasn't read each of the Bridgerton books, you should do so before reading this book. To me it's not a stand alone book. I don't believe there is any sexual content in this book, but there is in the series of book. In my opinion, Julia Quinn is an excellent writer.
The Bridgerton family series is one of my all time favorites in historical romance. Julia Quinn created a family of characters that are interesting, funny, competitive, devoted to each other and their families, and generally some of the most likeable fictional characters around. In this book of short stories, the author has compiled a series of epilogues, one for each sibling, and one for their matriarch, Violet. The humor, love, and individual personalities shine just as they did in the original books. I thoroughly enjoyed reading each of these additions to the lives of the Bridgerton family and felt as though I caught up with some cherished friends.

Wow! I'm so surprised by some of the poor reviews for this. I think most is in part due to the buyers having bought and read the 2nd epilogues and then re-purchasing the compilation of them again. I bought the paperback which states on the front cover (CONTAINS PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED MATERIAL). If you have not read the 2nd epilogues before and you love this family, most of you I'm sure will be overjoyed to read this! I laughed, smiled, and even cried a little during the final two stories in this book. It was like catching up with old friends, and I loved every second I spent reading it. Please keep in mind that these are just follow-ups to each of the Bridgerton siblings and their families. This is NOT a novel, and each story is very short in length, about 40-50 or so pages each on average. You get some unanswered questions/problems finally resolved, and Ms. Quinn also included a short novella about their mother Violet which was touching! This was such a joy to read and I truly hope we get to see more of this wonderful family soon. For true Julia Quinn/Bridgerton fans, this is not to be missed! 5 Wonderful Stars*****
I have read and loved everyone of the Bridgertons. Recently I was moving and had to give away a massive library of my favorite authors, but you can bet Julia Quinn got packed up and moved with me. As for Happily Ever After, well, I laughed and cried all the way through it. This is the true defination of ROMANCE, people still in love after years of living together. The last one though, Violet In Bloom, did me in. I think we can all relate to a life filled with joy and heartache, and Violet, though mostly in the background, was the backbone of her family. To finally have her love story told, and then make her a happy woman in spite of her terrible heart break, well, it was just awesome. Thank you Julia! I loved it!
