It’s no secret that I worship Rhonda James as an author. And just when I think I couldn’t love her or her characters more, she throws Hawke in the mix. That man is swoon worthy from page one. There’s nothing you won’t love about this rocker with a heart.

And while I’m crushing on Hawke, Sophie comes in and makes me fall for her too. She’s feisty, flirty and so much fun. I won’t give away any details about this book, except to say that if you love rocker books with heat, heart and a punch in the gut... then this is the book for you! Once again Rhonda you’ve taken my breath away!

Rhonda James has done it again!!!

Hawk and Sofie are amazing on their own but together they are explosive! 13 is so wonderfully written and I fell in love with both Hawk and Sofie. Hawk.... well I loved him in 21 and I really really love him in this book! Sofie doesn't even realize Hawk is a game changer for her because he isn't like anyone she ever been with and I don't mean him being a musician.... now I'm not gonna give away the book because I want you to read it! Shit happens, feelings are thrown out there, truths are told and choices made.... AGAIN AMAZING!
This is one of the sweetest and sexiest stories. Hawk may have the swagger and sometimes arrogant charm that comes with being a rock star but at his core he is the quintessential southern gentleman. His effort to woo and basically court Sophie is as endearing as it is sexy. Sophie is sassy, sexy and sweet. Her and Hawk are absolutely perfect together. But we all know the best things in life don't always come easy. While the chemistry and closeness comes simple enough, it's their dreams and career aspirations that prove to be their biggest hurdle. I enjoyed this book so much. Can't wait to see which of the guys will be the next to be love struck.
WOW!!!! I don't even know where to start or what to say with this review, this book can not be put into words!! Hawk & Sophie's story is a true love story. They have their ups and downs as does any relationship but you
cannot help to crave the relationship they have. Hawk is every women's dream until in true male fashion he screws up. Can they get their dream romance back? Rhonda James has truly outdone herself with 13which is hard to do, have you meet Brantley and Tucker?? 13 with it's amazing story and awesome cover has shot to the top of the book boyfriend list!! I wasn’t sure how this would work but I really should know better because Rhonda brings it EVERY time!

You will get lost in Hawk and Sophie’s story as Rhonda weaves one heck of a sweet tale about following your dreams. You will laugh(the family dynamics are great), tear up a little and maybe want to yell at both Hawk and Sophie to get it together but mostly you will love them, you just can’t help it.

Prepare to be wooed by southern gentleman Jared “Hawk” Hawkins!! I never...er I mean Sophie never had a chance! You are in for a treat with this hot, sexy, slow burn of a romance of Hawk and Sophie’s. Even with a book hangover I am fully recommending Hawk & Sophie!
I am a HUGE fan of this author and books like this are the reason why!! She writes female characters you want to be best friends with, and she writes men who make you combust.

Hawk is the perfect BBF. He's the Southern Rocker with just the right amount of dirty alpha. The guy gives excellent swoon and at the same time ensures you need a new pair of panties.

Sophie is a beautiful character. Strong, funny and slightly jaded she meets her match in Hawk. He shows her what love can be.

13 by Rhonda James is the second book in her standalone series, The List . This book is Sophie and Hawks story. Told in dual POV between the two main characters, this fake-marriage trope was well-written and well-paced.

At times I felt like Sophie was a bit on the immature side and wanted to choke her - but in all fairness she is in her mid-twenties, used to a certain lifestyle, and it fit with the characters as a whole. Hawk, on the other hand, was a true southern gentleman with a wicked alpha-style in the sheets. He was hot and most definitely book-boyfriend material!

The story had enough angst to keep you hooked but was an enjoyable read with great sexy-times, fun flirtation, hilarious secondary characters, and some real emotion. Enjoy!
This book is amazing, as are all of the rest by Rhonda James.
Hawk is the epitome of the perfect book boyfriend. He's in a band, but has decided that the groupies aren't what he wants anymore. He needs Sophie, weather he realizes it or not. He is there for Sophie when she needs him, and wants to do everything to make sure she's happy.
Sophie is beautiful, but slightly broken. An earlier relationship is the reason, but it's what brings them together. Her acting career is at a standstill, and her previous boyfriend is moving on.
Together they decided to do something spontaneous make her ex jealous. Which keeps them together for several months.
But secrets come out, the ex comes back, and sometimes careers take you to different places.

I loved this story, and lost sleep over these characters. Their lives intertwined perfectly, and they fought for their love.
